INTRODUCTION TO THE CHAKRAS

We and all living beings are composed of energy which is
the root of all life. These workshops are basic introductions
to the chakras. The word chakra means "wheel" or "disc."
There are seven major chakras or "spinning wheels" of
energy in the body and their balance is key to our physical
health, our emotional stability, and our mental clarity. In
each workshop we will focus on exploring the yoga poses
that can be used to bring the chakras into balance.
Handouts provided. 3 CEUs per workshop.

Breast cancer is becoming more common every day striking an amazing number of men and women. If you are one of the many who have been touched by breast cancer join Kelly, a breast cancer survivor, to explore yoga for recovery. For each person the experience of breast cancer is very different. We will focus on breathing techniques to assist
in healing the body and mind as well as gentle to moderate stretches of the muscles affected by surgery. You will receive a handout so you can continue to stretch at home and some resources on healthcare professionals to aid in
your recovery. We will explore plenty of options for all levels in order to accommodate everyone.
